Group-led, not group-shaped

Tell us about the people. The rest follows.

The right mix of skills, pace and structure depends entirely on who is turning up. Below are the groups we most often work with — your enquiry tells us where you fit.

  • A small group enjoying a bushcraft session in the woods

    Family & friends

A proper day in the woods with the people who matter. Mixed ages welcome — kids and grown-ups learn alongside each other.

    • Pace and content adapted to mixed ages
    • Hands-on fire, shelter, cooking and craft
    • Half-day, full-day or longer get-togethers
  • Children gathered around a fire pit watching an instructor demonstrate fire-lighting

    Schools & youth groups

Structured outdoor sessions that get young people genuinely engaged — and away from a screen for the day.

    • Risk-assessed for educational and youth groups
    • Activities chosen to suit age and ability
    • Single visits, repeat sessions, or residential support
  • A team working together on an outdoor challenge

    Corporate & team building

Get a team out of the office and into the woods to actually think together. Real tasks, real outcomes — no awkward icebreakers.

    • Half-day, full-day or multi-day formats
    • Group fire, shelter and problem-solving challenges
    • Designed around team size, mix and goals
  • A relaxed group gathered around an outdoor fire

    Private events & milestones

Birthdays, anniversaries, hen and stag days, or quiet celebrations — memorable days outside, on your terms.

    • Sized for small private gatherings or larger groups
    • Mix of skills, food and time round the fire
    • Low-key or celebratory — we plan to your tone
Running an event?

We hire out as an activity stand too.

As well as full days in the woods, we set up a hireable axe-throwing stand at fetes, summer fayres, school events, festivals and corporate days. Depending on space and location, we can run a fire-lighting demo alongside it.

What we always do

The bits that don't change.

  • Risk-assessed, properly

Every session is planned with a clear safety brief, written risk assessment, and adapted to the group on the day.

  • Rain or shine

We plan for the weather, not against it. A bit of rain rarely changes the day — we'll tell you in advance if it really does.

  • We bring the woods

We work in private woodland with the right kit on site. You bring the people; we handle location, tools and tinder.

  • Small or large

From a handful of close friends to school groups and company away-days. Group size shapes the plan — tell us what you have in mind.

Tell us about your group

Every group gets a day built around them.

Send us a quick enquiry with rough numbers, a timeframe and what you'd like to get out of the day. We'll come back with a tailored plan.
