TJ Bushcraft grew out of a simple belief: bushcraft is best learned in the woods, alongside someone who has done it for a long time, at a pace that fits the group.
Every day we run is shaped by who is turning up. A primary-school session looks nothing like a corporate away-day, and a family afternoon looks nothing like a stag day in the woods. What stays the same is the care taken to plan it, the skills we teach, and the woodland we work in.
We don't try to do everything. We do tailored outdoor experiences for the people who come to us — quietly, properly, and with a fire on at lunchtime. Read a few words from past groups if you'd like a feel for how that lands in practice.

Meet Tony and James.
TJ Bushcraft is run by Tony and James, who share a genuine passion for the outdoors and creating memorable hands-on experiences. Tony has been immersed in bushcraft for nearly 30 years, travelling across the UK, learning practical outdoor skills and building a deep appreciation for life outdoors. James discovered his passion more recently, but has embraced it wholeheartedly, rapidly developing his skills and experience through dedication, practice, and a love of learning.
Together, they combine experience, enthusiasm, and a practical down-to-earth approach to delivering outdoor experiences that are engaging, educational, and great fun.
