Safety, first
A clear brief and ground rules before anyone picks up an axe. Calm, unfussy, and built into the day rather than tacked on.

One-to-one coaching
We show the technique, then watch each thrower and feed back. Plenty of throws per person — confidence builds quickly.

Real targets, real kit
Chopping-block targets, proper throwing axes, marked lanes. Everything's provided — you don't need to bring a thing.

Mixed ages, sensibly
Great for adults and older children. We'll discuss age range and group mix on enquiry and adapt accordingly.
What we need from you.
If you're booking the stand for a fete, festival, fayre or private event, here's what to expect logistically. Anything we haven't covered, ask in your enquiry.

Space
Roughly 10 m × 15 m of grass or hard standing works for a single throwing lane — we'll confirm the exact footprint once we know your venue.

Time
Half-day or full-day stands. Per-thrower slots run a few minutes each, so one stand can comfortably serve dozens of people across a day.

Setup
We arrive early, set up the targets and safety markings, run the activity, and pack down at the end. You point us at the spot and we'll do the rest.

Add-on: fire lighting
Depending on space and location, we can also run a fire-lighting demo alongside the axe-throwing stand. Mention it in your enquiry and we'll talk through what fits.
We booked TJ to host axe throwing for our summer fete and it was a fantastic addition to the day. It attracted plenty of interest from both adults and older children, and the team ran everything in a safe, professional, and approachable way.
